Dr Bethany Stroyde | Heart Mind Body Psychology

I'm Dr. Bethany Stroyde, a Clinical Psychologist and therapeutic yoga teacher with over 15 years of experience across the NHS and in my private practice, Heart Mind Body Psychology. I specialise in integrative mind-body approaches, including Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), EMDR, somatic and integrative processing (SIP), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and therapeutic yoga.

I help people who feel stuck, disconnected, or quietly exhausted to find their way back to themselves and the life they want to be living; to feel better in heart, mind and body. Struggles may include anxiety, depression, chronic pain, chronic stress, fatigue, burnout, relationship and attachment issues, trauma and major life transitions. Through working with not just your patterns of thinking, but how these patterns live in your body (such as tension), and how they play out in your everyday life and relationships, we find a way forward together.

Many of the people I work with have tried talking therapy before and found it helpful, but sensed there was a deeper layer still untouched. They have some insight, but they still feel stuck. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I work with all parts of you to create real, lasting change. Clients often find that the deeper work they didn't know they needed turns out to be the most transformative, leaving with more freedom, wisdom, and courage, and a life that has visibly expanded.
